Terms and Conditions
By making a deposit or full payment for your holiday, you accept the following Terms & Conditions:
The Greener Camping Club
In order to comply with countryside planning policy, we operate as a Greener Camping Club members-only campsite. The Club was established by people with a passion for sustainable, eco-friendly camping holidays. When you book your holiday with us, you will be enrolled as a member of the Club. Membership costs just £12 for the calendar year and gives you access to some of the greenest campsites in the UK. It also includes participation in the Club’s ‘Trees for Life’ scheme, whereby a tree is planted for every member we enrol.

Payment
We request a 50% deposit when booking your holiday. Payment of this deposit secures your booking. If you paid by credit card, details will be stored and the payment taken automatically four weeks before the start of your holiday.
Cancellation by You
If you cancel at least 1 week before your check in day and time, you’ll receive a 50% refund. If you cancel within 1 week before check in, there will be no refund.
Your Greener Camping Club membership fee (£12) is not refundable if your holiday is cancelled, but your membership will stand, which means you will be able to book further GCC holidays for the remainder of the year without paying the membership fee again.
Bookings are not transferable to another family without our prior agreement in writing. If you are concerned about the prospect of cancellation, please take out holiday insurance. Please see further info below.
Cancellation by Us
Buckland Farm Camping reserves the right to cancel a camping holiday at short notice if we are unable to provide a safe camping environment, due to extreme weather conditions, ill health, fire, flooding or any other extenuating circumstances beyond our control. Under such circumstances, your full payment will be returned to you. Buckland Farm Camping cannot accept liability or responsibility for any loss, including consequential loss, caused by cancellation. The Greener Camping Club membership fee is not refundable.

Children & Adults Safety
There are many opportunities for play and adventure at Buckland Farm Camping. Our aim is for children to have a truly enriching experience of space and freedom. But there are contingent risks to be aware of. We permit campfires, there is a shallow stream bordering the land, we have livestock, and we are a working farm - so there are tractors around. These risks are small and should be self-evident - but if you are not clear, please ask! Buckland Farm Camping accepts no responsibility for injury incurred on site. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children on site at ALL times.
Arrival & Departure Times
Arrival time is between 2pm and 8pm. Please call us if you think you may arrive later.
On departure day, please vacate your camping pitch by 11am.
Cars
The speed limit while at Buckland Farm Camping is 5 mph. Please have consideration for others while moving around the site in your car. One car is allowed per pitch. Other vehicles (if booked) should be in the car park.
Consideration for Others
Noise must be kept to a minumum, in particular within our quiet time of 10.30pm to 7.30am.
Generators and amplified music are not permitted.
Recycling & Rubbish
All rubbish must be recycled. There is a 'dry' recycling bin for glass, tins, plastic, paper, cardboard, etc. What is left ie non recycleable items, can be placed in the general waste bin (our waste company has a zero to landfill policy) Please do not use our bins for large items such as broken tents, gazebos etc - we cannot dispose of such items here.
Campfires
Please only use the designated campfire places and do not enlarge or alter the position of the designated campfire places. Do not leave your campfire unattended and think carefully about whether or not to light a fire if it is windy. Buckland Farm Camping accepts no liablity for injury or damage caused by your campfire. By lighting it, you accept full responsibility for it.
Day Visitors
Day visitors are only permitted by prior agreement. Fees may apply.
Property Loss
My Campsite cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen property.
Smokers
All undercover facilities are strictly NO SMOKING. If you smoke, do it outside and dispose of your cigarette ends in the campfire or bin.
Dog Policy
Apart from our designated off-lead area, or fenced pitch if you have booked one, dogs must be kept on a lead of no more than 2 metres in length at all times, for the safety and enjoyment of all guests. Dogs must never be left unattended on site. You must pick up after your dogs on all occasions, and use the bins provided.
The Weather
You must ensure that your tent is robust and pitched correctly. Please note, we do not provide a refund because the weather has not worked out, or is not to your liking. Extreme weather is covered in ‘Cancellations by Us’.
Force Majeur
Buckland Farm Camping are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your Booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but will not be limited to) war, terrorism, serious crime, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics or such similar events ("Force Majeure"). We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.
